Elizabeth Township was awarded $200,000 through the Low Volume Road Grant Program to address critical infrastructure needs and repair major landslides.
In 2019, a landslide occurred on Detroit Avenue in a steep corner of Glassport Borough. It started contaminating nearby streams with sediment, creating hazardous road conditions, and impacting residents' access to services.
Lincoln Borough was able to improve a road with severe stormwater runoff, icing, and erosion with funding from Multimodal Transportation Grant awarded an ACCD Low Volume Road Grant.
ACCD provides technical assistance to improve water and soil resources throughout the region.
