Test your soil for lead by the Allegheny County Conservation District. Contaminants are common in urban soil and can be hazardous to health when ingested or inhaled. Soil testing is the first step to reduce your risk of exposure.

ACCD will host a field day for agricultural producers with Natural Resource Conservation Service and Penn State Extension to showcase best management practices and pasture management implemented at Jersey Settlement Farm in Monongahela, Pennsylvania.

Join ACCD and Wetland Boot Camp for a less technical, still field-based, course to learn how wetlands and streams are identified in the field, BUT others will be performing the actual field work. This one-day training offers 8 professional development hours.
