Impact Overview

ACCD envisions an educated and engaged public, clean water and a sustainable future.

To attain that vision, the organization completes on-the-ground work to protect the soil and water resources of Allegheny County. ACCD administers programs such as farmland preservation, dirt gravel and low volume road projects, watershed improvements, nutrient management and more. These efforts deliver critical environmental and community benefits, including dedicated future farmland, safer low volume roads, increased fish habitat and more.
