Clean Water Solutions With City of Pittsburgh
ACCD brought together staff from the City of Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Water for a workshop focused on non-point source pollution.
Hands-on Training: Participants received training on stormwater regulations and helped maintain three rain gardens across the city. Each site was weeded and replanted with native species that absorb stormwater and reduce pollution.
Funding: The workshop was funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
